DOB:
7/17/01 Sire: Dom Lucilio
Dam: Dona Betanha
Hollywood descends from accoyo royalty, Peruvian Augusto on his maternal side and
Peruvian Royal Fawn on his paternal.. This is a pairing we have not seen until
Hollywood, but it is one not to be missed. He is full Peruvian, half Accoyo and
100% awesome. Hollywood’s sire is Dom Lucilio. Dom Lucilio resides in New Mexico
and has made quite a name for himself across the country winning 6 Get of Sires
in 2002. He also sired 14 progeny that have won color championships in 2002. The
Dom Lucilio children have won either Reserve Champion or Champion in every color
group except for Pattern. These are some incredible statistics for an entire
breeding career, but to achieve this in just one spring show season is nothing
short of spectacular.
Straight lines and a correct bite are just the foundation for the next
generation of alpaca fiber. Hollywood’s Micron count reads 18.6 MC 3.3 SD 16.8
CV & .4 %> 30. He sheared 7 lbs of fiber with only 7 months of growth and that
crimp and sheen are beyond compare. He hit the show ring running taking a 1st at
the North American Alpaca Show and then followed that up with a 1st and Reserve
Color Champion at MAPACA. Hollywood finished out the spring show with a 2nd at
what many people have described as the most competitive alpaca show ever, the
AOBA National Halter show. The fall show spelled much of the same for Hollywood
taking a blue ribbon at the Empire Alpaca Extravaganza 2002 in arguably the
toughest class at the show. Hilltop Alpacas is proud to offer Hollywood for
outside breedings. We always strive to offer our clients the very best and we
feel this stud is beyond compare. Contact us for additional information.
